Donald M. Jones , a well-known University of Miami law professor, has been arrested after he allegedly solicited an undercover police officer for oral sex. He allegedly engaged in a brief conversation with an undercover officer in his 2008 Mercedes-Benz in the 7700 block of Northeast First Avenue, and offered to pay $20 for the sex act. Miami police charged him with soliciting to commit prostitution. The University of Miami said in a statement that, “The University of Miami is aware of the situation concerning UM School of Law Professor Donald M. Jones. It should be noted that Professor Jones has never been convicted of any previous crime.
