Arizona Mother Charged with Child Abuse

Sandra Rey Holguin,33, is facing child abuse charges after allegedly leaving her 2-year-old daughter in a hot car in 106 degree weather while she shopped. The Arizona mother allegedly left her toddler daughter locked in a parked car while she shopped at Kmart on Friday. Customers and employees at the store became concerned and called 911 when they saw the child crying. Authorities rushed to the scene and rescued the girl, gave her water, and detained her mother. Why would you leave your daughter in a parked car in 106 degree weather without at least air conditioning? She shouldn’t have left her daughter to begin with because a) someone could have stolen her and/or the car and b) she could have died. I guess this poor woman might learn her lesson the hard way… she may even face time in jail!
