Second suspect in bar-hopping temptress robbery ring arrested

The second of four women suspected of being part of a ring of bar-hoppers who drug and rob men–including one victim who police identified as a New York Giants defensive tackle Shaun Rogers–was arrested by New York State Police. The NFL player reported $400,000 worth of missing jewelry from a hotel safe in Miami.

Subhanna Beyah, 25, was arrested on fugitive from justice charges and was arraigned early Sunday in Queens on the fugitive warrant. Police say she’s one of four women responsible for scamming multiple men of a half-million dollars in cash, guns, Rolexes, diamonds and other prized possessions. After detectives from the Miami Beach Police Department asked the New York State Police on Thursday to help locate her, Beyah was located and arrested; Miami Beach Police were in New York for the arrest.

Unfortunately this is not Beyah’s first offense. According to authorities, she has been arrested nearly two dozen times with nine of her arrests for prostitution charges–the first when she was 14. Beyah also has been charged with grand theft, fraud, forgery and illegal use of credit cards. Her numerous aliases include Christina More, Christian Moore, Christine Brown, Christin Miller and Crystal Alex Jones.

One of the women, Keisha Clark, 27, turned herself in to the Miami-Dade Police Thursday evening and spent the night in jail.
Police are still searching for the other two women — Johnnina Miller, 25, and Ryan Elkins, 23.

Six local agencies — the Broward Sheriff’s Office, and the police departments of Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Miami Beach and Tampa — are investigating all four women, who face grand-theft charges.

Anyone with information about these women should call Broward Sheriff’s Detective Ron Cusumano at 954-786-4200.
