The robbery suspect, now revealed as 46- year-old Carlos Caballero, remembered to take some of his victims’ cellphones and managed to escape under the tracks of police; however, he left behind one of his gloves and some of the loot. Authorities found it, swabbed it for DNA and charged him with armed burglary with assault, lewd and lascivious molestation, false imprisonment and wearing a mask or disguise. He is being held at Miami-Dade County Jail. He is being held at Miami-Dade County Jail with no bond. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison. He will be held in jail with no bond until the State and/or the Judge agree to give him a bond, he has an Arthur Hearing after which the Court sets a bond, or the charges are reduced to charges that carry a bond.
