A Florida teenager who is best friends with Tyler Hadley,17, claims he didn’t believe Hadley was going to kill his parents because he had heard the threats before. He wasn’t convinced when Hadley allegedly confessed to him in gruesome detail how he had killed his parents with a hammer. None of it seemed real, the friend told police, until he was led to the master bedroom to see Blake and Mary-Jo Hadley, dead on the floor. The unidentified friend tipped off the police. Hadley remains held without bond and his public defender entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf Wednesday. The lead prosecutor on the case believes that there are enough facts to prove premeditated murder. Hadley told his friend he planned to commit suicide by taking painkillers when police arrived.
