A Hollywood man plead not guilty to allegedly slaying his mother.
Prosecutors say Jason Kertesz, 29, killed his mother, Irene Kertesz, 62, at her Hollywood home on July 30 and her husband found her battered body on the floor of their home office. Authorities caught him for violating probation and added a first-degree murder charge as well. Another hearing in the case is scheduled for Tuesday.
