Oneal Morris, the 32-year-old transgender woman of Hollywood, was charged in two counties with three counts of practicing medicine without a license and injecting people seeking “fuller figures” with a toxic concoction which included Fix-a-Flat. On Thursday, July 26, 2012 she was charged with manslaughter in the death of a Broward County client, Shatarka Nuby, 31, of Tamarac. According to reports, Nuby had paid Morris, hundreds of dollars to inject her at her home with toxins. Morris promised it would enhance Nuby’s buttock, hips, thighs and breasts. Morris would appear in scrubs, giving the impression she was a medical worker. Nuby died from what an assistant medical examiner called “massive systemic silicone migration” as a consequence of cosmetic silicone injections. Before she died, Nuby had reported Morris to the Florida Department of Health. For more information go to the Miami Herald.
