2 Miami Men Arrested For Multiple Robberies

On Monday, August 25, 2014, two men were arrested in Miami-Dade county after they went on a crime spree. The two men were named Alexander B. Cohen and John C. Rarick. Both men are 29 years-old. Cohen and Rarick attempted to rob a Walgreen’s. They also robbed a Nordstrom, Aventura Target and crashed into a toll booth. Additionally, the two men also robbed a woman in Sunny Isles and a man in North Miami.The two men were arrested in a parking lot at Johnson and Wales University. Justin Dickason, who is a 19 year-old student at the school, witnessed the two men getting arrested. He stated that there was chaos near the entrance of the school. He also stated that the cops pummeled one of the robbers.

Neal Cuevas, who is an officer for the North Miami Police Department stated that Rarick and Cohen were looking for any opportunity to rob people or businesses. They also that the cops had been trying to catch the men for quite some time.

According to police reports, Rarick had been arrested on July 7, 2014 for suspicion of grand theft of a motor vehicle. Cohen does not have a police report. There have been no other details release about the incident.
